#ACTION GAMEPLAY RECORDING INSTALL#
At that point I'll do a fresh install of Action and hope there are no more issues, but until then I'm honestly too scared to even record with it. In the near future I'll be upgrading to a much more powerful video card, and adding more RAM.

I've uninstalled Action and all of its components, files, folders, etc.

Some of the games I record utilize only one save file per playthrough, so if I lost footage I wouldn't be able to go back and record it again without starting the game over entirely to get back to that part. This was discouraging enough to get me to stop recording for the time being. It seemed to happen right when the weird stuttering was at its worst. But on my third episode of Claire, I had to cut off the last 5 or 10 minutes because it once again was unusable footage. Then I recorded Outlast with no issue, and a few episodes' worth of footage from the game Claire with very little issue (there was strange stuttering that only occurred when recording with Action). The beginning of the video was still the same and the very end was still the same, but somehow most of the middle condensed itself down and got all corrupted, with skipping video and audio like you mentioned. First when I was recording Killer Is Dead, where the entire 35 minutes of footage cut itself down to about 17 minutes. This sounds very similar to a problem I've had a few times. I'm curious, has anybody else had this problem and been able to fix it? Any help would be vastly appreciated! Thanks.

( For example, Minecraft I can record on just about any setting, EQ Landmark NOPE, it struggles hard) It's very frustrtaing, especially when I do test videos that turn out fine, go to record, and end up with completely unusable footage. I've noticed though, that it will record older games just fine, it seems to be newer ones it struggles with. I've tried recording in different formats, differen quality levels, and it just keeps happening no matter what. It'll start recording just fine, but about a minute in, the audio will break up, the video gets choppy ( Sometimes it'll keep going, other times it won't) and then either freezes or just keeps going without any audio. I've had it for several months now, since 5/12/14 but within the past.I'd say several weeks, it's started basically breaking when I try to do any recordings. So when I first bought Action! It ran smoothly, I got excellent recordings, everything went perfect.
